About
Our terracotta tiles are handmade in Spain from natural clay, shaped in traditional moulds and fired slowly so each one keeps its own colour and character.
Because nothing is machine-perfect, a finished floor carries gentle variation in tone, texture and edge — the quality that makes a terracotta floor feel settled and timeless rather than manufactured.
We supply homeowners, builders, architects and commercial projects across the UK, and we are always happy to talk through formats, quantities, laying patterns and sealing before you order.

Terracotta is simply fired clay — no plastics, no synthetic glazes. It is warm underfoot, ages beautifully rather than wearing out, and its natural colour variation gives a floor real depth. It suits period homes because it is the material those homes were built with.

Natural clay is dug, prepared and hand-pressed into traditional wooden moulds. The tiles are left to dry in the air before being fired slowly in the kiln. Every stage is done by hand, so each tile carries slight differences in tone, thickness and edge.

Handmade terracotta is porous and must be sealed before grouting. A traditional finish uses boiled linseed oil followed by a wax polish, building a soft sheen and a protective surface. Modern impregnating sealers are an easier alternative for kitchens and busy floors.
